Job Title: Maintenance Fitter

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves working on a Monday to Friday afternoon roster.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on machinery.
  • Carry out upgrades and repairs to mechanical equipment.
  • Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, automated, and materials handling systems.
  • Undertake welding, minor fabrication, and machining tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all OHS policies and procedures.
  • Participate in safety projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Support production teams by keeping equipment reliable and efficient.

 

Requirements:
  • Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent).
  • Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery.
  • Skills in welding, minor steel fabrication, and machining (lathes / milling).
  • Understanding of safety and compliance systems (OHS).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to pass a medical and police check.
