Strategic Operations Coordinator

As a key contributor to our organisation, you will play a vital role in connecting commercial, production, and supply chain operations to ensure we have enough raw and finished materials to meet customer demand.

The Role

You will be an integral part of a team responsible for managing and coordinating demand planning activities associated with customers and products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute product tactical plans to meet organisational goals.
  2. Provide support in developing seasonal demand cycles.
  3. Oversee planning integration for new and existing products.
  4. Develop and implement a strong customer focus with the commercial and customer service departments.
  5. Incorporate business intelligence, forecast information, and sales data gathered from commercial, finance, supply chain, and other sources to deliver an effective production planning framework.
  6. Organise raw material allocations via call-in orders and internal transfers while managing cost effectiveness and timing.
  7. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  8. Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.
  9. Identify areas of improvement and recommend action plans.
  10. Manage both finished goods and raw material lines.
About You

We are seeking someone with:

  • Experience in inventory management, trend analysis, tactical planning, demand planning, manufacturing, and forecasting.
  • 2-3 years industry experience in a planning or manufacturing role.
  • A natural talent for analysing trends.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to use a wide range of computer systems.
