Job Overview

This is a leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operations of cleaning services at Canberra Hospital. The successful candidate will have experience in managing frontline employees, maintaining staffing levels and budgets, and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage overall day to day performance of the delivery of cleaning and distribution operations in line with the contract.
  2. Ensure strict hygiene and infection control measures are in place.
  3. Audit and schedule cleaning requirements while recognizing Work Health and Safety standards.
  4. Report daily performance directly to the Key Account Manager and client as delegated.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong operational management experience in a healthcare or similar service industry.
  • Experience in direct reporting to the Contract Manager or on request Client representatives.
  • Ability to manage a large contingent of frontline employees.
  • Thorough understanding and commitment to cleaning and infection control requirements in a hospital environment.
