- Ensure seamless integration of utility operations with the overall construction timeline, minimizing any potential disruptions.
- Evaluate and authorize utility design plans and drawings, ensuring they meet project specifications.
- Project Oversight :
- Create and oversee the utility work schedule, ensuring alignment with the broader project timeline.
- Track the progress and effectiveness of utility-related tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the project manager and other team leads to resolve any issues or modifications that may affect utility operations.
- Technical Leadership :
- Offer technical direction and assistance to the project team regarding all utility-related issues.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of utility services, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Address technical challenges associated with utility relocations or installations, working closely with engineers, subcontractors, and utility providers.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience :
- At least 15 years of experience in utility coordination or management on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in tram or rail construction.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with various utility providers and managing intricate utility relocations.
- Comprehensive understanding of utility regulations, standards, and best practices.
