Job Overview

The role of Facilities Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of facilities management, including project coordination, office fit-outs, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination & Office Fit-Outs: You will oversee the end-to-end handover process, ensuring seamless transition into business-as-usual operations for new or refurbished offices.
  • Vendor Management: Act as on-ground Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all office fit-outs, refurbishments, and relocations, collaborating with global facilities team to ensure alignment with DWF standards and timelines.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Lead implementation and monitoring of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and DWF Health & Safety policies across all Australian office locations.
  • Risk Management & Documentation: Identify and mitigate facilities-related risks, especially in office-based environments, maintaining accurate records of inspections, incidents, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
Requirements
  • Australian OH&S Certification: Proven experience in professional services office environment.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking skills, strong attention to detail.
  • Leadership Skills: Hands-on leadership and problem-solving skills and experience.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity calls for a qualified Facilities Manager to lead our Brisbane office relocation project on a 6-month full-time basis.

Your Key Performance Indicators

  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, SLA adherence, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service contracts, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Develop Preventative Maintenance Schedules: Develop, implement, and communicate preventative maintenance schedules for all facilities assets.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with Building Systems: Familiarity with building systems, safety protocols, and vendor coordination including Contract handling and SLA measurements.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Finance Principles: Understanding of accounting and finance principles, experience planning and maintaining facility budgets.
