We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Professional to join our team in Western Sydney. As an Upholstery Assistant, you will be responsible for working with various fabrics, cutting materials to required size, using adhesives, maintaining safe work practices, collaborating with colleagues for effective workflow, and reading and interpreting designs and plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Fabric manipulation and material preparation
- Cutting and trimming techniques
- Adhesive application and finishing
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Collaborative teamwork and workflow management
- Design interpretation and plan execution
- Fabric handling and manipulation skills
- Attention to detail and precision
- Experience with hand tools and equipment
- Knowledge of WHS policies and procedures
- Previous experience in upholstery or related field desirable
- Upholstery trade qualifications an asset
- 30 years of commercial furniture industry experience
