Upholsterer Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team in Launceston. The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, sewing, and fitting upholstery materials for commercial products.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for repairing and refurbishing upholstered furniture items, identifying issues with upholstery, collaborating with the design and production teams, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.

The role requires proven experience as an Upholsterer or Motor Trimmer, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, understanding of pattern making, cutting and sewing processes, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, strong organizational skills and a professional friendly manner.

The preferred candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in upholstery.
