Key positions are available for adult-serving Speech and Language Therapists to contribute positively to the lives of our clients.

Job Overview

Our organization supports adults with dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will have access to comprehensive resources and internal clinical supervision. You will also have opportunities to participate in internal and external workshops as well as professional development programs of your interest.

Responsibilities
  • Managing client calendars – flexibility is key, so you can choose work hours and locations that suit you.
  • Assessing and diagnosing client communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • National travel may be required to support clients in regional locations.
  • Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention services.
  • Liaising with a close-knit national team of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties.
  • Collaborating with organisational staff, support coordinators, and colleagues to ensure optimal care needs are met.
  • Offering consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues.
