About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at our Wilpinjong mine in Mudgee, NSW. As part of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance on mobile machinery to ensure optimal working conditions.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and servicing excavators, off-highway trucks, graders, dozers, loaders, and drills. A recognised Trade Certificate - Plant Mechanic, Automotive Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Duty Trade Qualification / Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment / Plant Mechanic Certificate III Heavy or similar is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on mobile machinery
  • Prioritise and undertake specified and/or general work to the required standard and within timeframes
  • Work with planning and scheduling teams to increase reliability and availability targets
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment
  • Participate in shift change, site meetings, communications, and reporting requirements
  • Engage in the Continuous Improvement Program
