Job Summary

Lead a Team of Project Managers.

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from pre-design to post-construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain excellent communication and collaboration throughout the project.
  • Manage project procurement, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on procurement and project programming.
  • Manage project financials and reporting.

The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of major building projects. They will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers, ensuring the coordination and management of building projects using Modern Methods of Construction, managing project procurement, liaising with clients, coordinating and managing external consultants and internal staff, providing expert advice, managing project financials and reporting, mentoring and supporting a team of Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on building construction.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience with Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Tertiary qualification in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience working on government projects is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety principles.

To succeed as a Senior Project Manager, you will need strong oral/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
