Structural Engineering Role

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and reviewing structural designs for bridges, overpasses, and other structures using advanced software and techniques.
  • Leading structural engineering aspects of projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Performing complex structural analysis and calculations to ensure integrity and safety of designs.
  • Ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Conducting detailed reviews and inspections of structural designs and construction work.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to communicate design concepts and address project requirements.
  • Incorporating innovative practices into structural designs to minimize environmental impact and optimize resource efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a technically capable individual with experience in civil structure projects who comes to us with:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on highway and bridge projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, LUSAS, Midas Civil, Strand 7, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Main Roads WA standards and engineering practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
