Senior Economist Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Economics Advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in economic analysis, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory advice, and policy evaluation.

The successful candidate will lead small to medium-sized projects from inception to completion, ensuring outcomes are on time, on budget, and to a high standard. They will also support the technical lead on complex projects and proposals, contributing to project planning, analysis, and client engagement.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of economic advisory projects, ensuring timely and accurate output of work.
  • Support the technical lead on complex projects, contributing to project planning, analysis, and client engagement.
  • Conduct economic and financial analysis, modelling, and strategy development.
  • Deliver advisory services, including cost-benefit analysis, regulatory economic advice, and policy evaluation.
  • Develop meaningful and innovative ideas, solutions, and strategies for clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in economic advisory, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
  • Strong technical foundation in economic analysis, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory advice, and policy evaluation.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality, client-facing deliverables.
