Economic Advisor Position

This role involves delivering high-quality economic advisory services, managing and contributing to complex projects, and developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

As an Economic Advisor, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of small to medium-sized economic advisory projects from inception to completion, ensuring outcomes are on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

  • Manage the delivery of economic advisory projects, overseeing project planning, analysis, and client engagement.
  • Support senior team members on complex projects and proposals, contributing to project planning, analysis, and client engagement.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and deliverables across all stages of a project lifecycle, ensuring consistency in accuracy and timely output of work.
  • Conduct economic and financial analysis, modelling, and strategy development, providing insightful recommendations to clients.
  • Deliver advisory services, including cost-benefit analysis, regulatory economic advice, and policy evaluation, to support clients in making informed decisions.
  • Develop innovative ideas, solutions, and strategies for clients, leveraging your technical expertise to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver exceptional results across multiple sectors and industries, supporting business development strategies and initiatives.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field, with a strong foundation in economic analysis and policy evaluation.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in economic advisory, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment, with a proven track record of producing high-quality client-facing deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
  • Strong technical skills in economic analysis, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory advice, and policy evaluation, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
