Lead Transfer Pricing Specialist

This role requires a strong understanding of transfer pricing principles and their application in the Australian market. As a Lead Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering sophisticated economic analysis and advice on complex cross-border transactions.

  • Economic Expertise: Provide clear, detailed advice on complex issues with confidence and precision.
  • Transfer Pricing Knowledge: Ensure alignment with the arm's length principle to support fair and accurate tax outcomes in accordance with Australian law.
  • Strategic Thinking: Develop international tax strategies and innovative compliance initiatives.
  • Leadership Skills: Manage, coach and mentor junior team members and support training on economic or technical matters.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyse and resolve complex transfer pricing and profit shifting risks.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and strategic thinker to join our Economist Practice team - a specialist group within International, Support and Programs. As a Lead Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will be part of a highly professional organisation that advises on complex international tax matters, particularly transfer pricing, base erosion, and profit shifting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sophisticated economic analysis and advice on complex cross-border transactions
  • Ensure alignment with the arm's length principle to support fair and accurate tax outcomes in accordance with Australian law
  • Develop international tax strategies and innovative compliance initiatives
  • Manage, coach and mentor junior team members and support training on economic or technical matters
  • Identify, analyse and resolve complex transfer pricing and profit shifting risks
