Drive Strategic Technology Solutions

This role is a direct result of our organisation's bold cloud-first strategy, offering an exciting opportunity to drive real change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define current, transition, and target state solution architectures aligned with domain and group strategy.
  • Provide design leadership, ensuring solutions are reusable, scalable, secure, and implementable.
  • Evaluate FinOps tooling and lead the implementation of a modern, efficient technology stack.
  • Identify and modernise inefficient FinOps processes, driving documentation, best practices, and cost-conscious workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership and influence stakeholders to embed a culture of cloud cost optimisation across the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years IT experience, including 3 years in IT architecture or design.
  • Hands-on cloud solution architecture experience, including AWS and/or Azure.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and change.
  • Familiarity with ArchiMate, Agile and Lean methodologies (desired), and background in insurance or financial services (desired).
