Role Overview

Our organization seeks an accomplished software expert to drive strategic technical initiatives.

This role involves leading complex projects, shaping long-term technical direction, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement forward-looking technical strategies for the platform organization.
  • Collaborate with leaders to influence department-level strategy and ensure alignment with Atlassian products.
  • Partner with engineers and architects to explore large-scale projects and guide exploration of new technologies.
  • Mentor, hire, and develop other engineers while enhancing the engineering culture.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in software technology roles, preferably in Enterprise Products & Solutions in the cloud.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native technologies, ideally AWS.
  • At least 6 years of experience architecting and implementing features of a SaaS product at high scale, performance, and reliability.
  • Experience building and delivering multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS software.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, modern architectures, and distributed data management.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical visions to stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
