Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the adoption of cloud practices and elevate our team's capability in designing and implementing secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure environments for large and complex products through automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates.
  • Implement, develop, and document standards, processes, and frameworks to support modern DevOps release deployments across all stages and iterations of the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead system design activities for strategic, large, and complex systems development programmes, developing effective implementation strategies consistent with specified requirements, architectures, and constraints of performance and feasibility.
  • Apply sound advice and guidance on Information Security practices to ensure that cloud solutions deployed are secure by design and embedded into solution architecture.
  • Lead integration work in line with agreed system and service design, measure and monitor applications against development standards, assess risks, and take preventative action.
  • Provide advice and guidance on test planning and executing, adopting modern testing methods, automated tools, and techniques to ensure high-quality DevOps practices.
  • Gather requirements and identify functional needs through business consultation and collaboration, define and implement cloud solutions as required.
  • Remain up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, evaluate benefits of adopting them into our department, implement, and drive adoption.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud security, access controls, and privacy compliance/regulations, collaborate with Security teams to implement controls and maintain a high, compliant security posture.
