About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Perioperative Nurse to join our dynamic team at Ramsay Clinic Caloundra. As a key member of our Day Surgery unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our ophthalmology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing ophthalmology procedures
  • Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to relevant staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience in an acute setting or perioperative environment
  • Recent ophthalmology experience desirable
  • Excellent understanding of infection prevention and control principles
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
