About the Role:

This is a permanent part-time position available for a Perioperative Nurse to join the Ophthalmology Scrub Scout team at a private hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside a supportive and diverse team in the two-theatre plus procedure room department.
  • Provide high-quality patient care in an acute setting.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth surgical procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in an acute setting.
  • Recent experience working as a Scrub Scout Registered Nurse, Ophthalmology Scrub Scout nursing experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
