Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Managers, supporting the delivery of strategic advice on Treaty related matters and driving whole-of-government Treaty reform.

The role will contribute to groundbreaking work in cultural rights, self-determination, Treaty, and truth, delivering unprecedented outcomes for First Peoples as the first Treaty process substantially underway in Australia.

As a Manager, you will lead and coordinate a team of policy advisers to deliver high-quality, strategic, clear, evidence-based, and solution-focused policy advice and work outputs for senior executives, Ministers, and the Premier. Team outputs include research, correspondence, briefings, Cabinet Submissions, and reports on sensitive issues within tight timeframes.

  • Proven ability to initiate, deliver, and manage strategic projects on time and to a high standard
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities with the ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations

Key Responsibilities
