Job Description

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our squad, you will work closely with cross-functional consultants to provide advisory services to our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement end-to-end solutions for clients using the Salesforce platform. This will involve conducting client workshops, documenting user stories, process mapping, and working with project managers, delivery managers, and technical architects to ensure successful project delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and accreditation in this area.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about new technologies and industry trends, and who is able to work effectively under tight deadlines and juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning product backlogs and designing detailed to-be process maps
  • Presenting desired future state solution roadmaps that deliver clear measurable outcomes
  • Ensuring project deliverables are submitted and follow prescribed governance and approval processes in a timely manner
  • Participating in engagement planning, dependency identification and management, and estimation with project managers
  • Providing knowledge transfers and handovers to Salesforce delivery teams to ensure implementation success
  • Supporting architects with Salesforce solutioning and documentation
  • Influencing management decisions across organizational boundaries
  • Maintaining Salesforce ecosystem knowledge with up-to-date understanding of the platform and its capabilities
Requirements
  • 6+ years of relevant experience as a Functional Consultant/Salesforce Consultant
  • Healthcare and/or aged care industry experience
  • Salesforce Health Cloud experience and accreditation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives
  • Competent technical background with strong computer skills
  • Ability to take business and technical concepts of varying levels of detail and transform them into understandable artefacts
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Demonstrate experience and passion for new technologies and industry trends
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Passion for solving client challenges and commitment to client delight
