About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Risk Manager to join our team at REO Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic enhancement of our risk and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Risk Assessment: Develop and implement a comprehensive risk assessment agenda to identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  • Internal Audit and Assurance: Establish and maintain a robust internal audit program, conducting regular assurance activities to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management framework.
  • SOX Governance: Provide leadership and guidance on SOX compliance, ensuring that our internal controls and risk management framework meet the highest standards.
  • Investigations and Risk Management: Lead investigations into potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that our organization remains resilient in the face of uncertainty.
  • Governance and Risk Management: Enhance our governance, internal control, and risk management framework across the organization, ensuring that we maintain a strong risk culture.
  • Internal Control and Risk Assessment: Conduct regular assessments of our internal controls and risk management framework, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Enterprise Risk Management: Develop and implement an enterprise risk management framework, ensuring that we identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  • Control Issues and Action Plans: Identify control issues and develop action plans to address them, ensuring that our internal controls and risk management framework remain effective.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Partner with leaders across the organization to ensure that all projects are aligned with our risk management strategy and that we maintain a strong risk culture.
  • Internal Audit Processes: Develop and implement internal audit processes, ensuring that we maintain a robust and effective internal audit function.
  • Audit Committee Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the audit committee, ensuring that they are informed of our risk management strategy and internal controls.
  • Regional Travel and Risk Reviews: Conduct regular risk reviews nationally, incorporating process mapping and re-engineering to ensure that our risk management framework remains effective.
  • Data Analysis and Decision Making: Analyze internal and external data to support decision making, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Culture and Collaboration: Contribute to a high-performance team culture, fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Forensic Audits and Investigations: Assist with forensic audits and special investigations, ensuring that we maintain a strong risk culture and identify areas for improvement.
About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Risk Manager who possesses the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Qualifications: Degree, CA/CPA qualified with at least 7+ years of significant experience in internal audit and risk management in a SOX compliant environment.
  • Experience: Proven experience in audit reporting, risk investigations, and operationalizing audit plans and best practices across a complex multi-regional organization.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
