Job Title: Production Manager

About the Role:

The Production Manager is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the effective execution of production strategies, meeting quality, delivery, and operational targets. This includes strategic planning, team leadership, budget management, performance evaluation, stakeholder engagement, process optimisation, compliance management, inventory control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement production strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop team members to enhance performance and productivity
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets and drive financial reporting for optimal efficiency
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and senior management
  • Process Optimisation: Analyse and streamline processes to enhance efficiency
  • Compliance Management: Ensure operations comply with industry regulations and standards
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking a Production Manager with a strong foundation in manufacturing, preferably in dairy manufacturing, with at least 5+ years of experience in production management. Ideally, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or Business Administration. Equivalent industry experience is also acceptable.

Candidates must demonstrate leadership capability, technical expertise, and strategic thinking. Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Microsoft Office Suite, and other management systems is required. An analytical skill set is also essential to support data-driven decision making.
