About this Role

We are seeking a skilled fitter to join our team in Perth, Australia.

The Opportunity

As a site-based assembly employee, you will work with a team on new machine site builds, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure new machine assembly is completed as scheduled while maintaining quality.
  • Complete onsite builds and commissioning for mining equipment as scheduled.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within your allocated area.
  • Liaise closely with the assembly supervisor and leading hand to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery targets.

Requirements:

  • Evaluate and adhere to HCA's Safety Culture, prioritizing safety above all else.
  • Hold relevant Australian mobile plant trade qualifications.
  • Have experience with mechanical and hydraulic component assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing on construction and/or mining equipment.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and ability to build positive relationships.
