Clinical Risk Management Position

Our organisation seeks a seasoned clinical risk manager to drive improvement in healthcare outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the implementation of clinical risk management frameworks, ensuring that clinical practices are not only safe but continually improving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate clinical risk management initiatives to enhance patient safety and optimise care outcomes through data analysis, incident reviews, and system evaluations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex clinical risks, conduct investigations, and lead initiatives that directly impact the health and safety of patients.
  • Provide expert advice and oversight on adverse events, investigations, and medico-legal matters while mentoring multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of best practices in clinical care.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance clinical risk management skills across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years of post-registration experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflict, and promote effective collaboration.
  • Clinical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of clinical risk management, patient safety, and best practice standards.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to assess and manage complex clinical risks.
