Veterinary Director Job Opportunity

Lead a team of veterinary professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Veterinary Director, you will be responsible for shaping the future of veterinary care across two well-established clinics in the Australian Capital Territory.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Director to lead our team with purpose. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for team development and a commitment to delivering compassionate, industry-leading care.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the veterinary and nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.Ensure the highest standards of patient care and client satisfaction.Mentor and support less-experienced vets and nurses, cultivating a strong learning environment.Manage a diverse caseload, from routine check-ups to complex cases, using evidence-based practices.Communicate effectively with clients, guiding them through treatment options and care plans.Contribute to the clinic's ongoing growth and reputation within the local community.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A veterinary degree accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC), or completion of NAVLE, AVE, or similar examinations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for team development.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, industry-leading care.
