We are a community of approximately 1,700 students from Kinder to Year 12. Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education, partnering with families within a caring environment.

We aim to equip students for further study, careers, service, and life through a comprehensive curriculum and extracurricular activities.

About the Role

This permanent position involves teaching senior school students (Years 9–12) at our Pakenham campus, starting Term 1 next year.

The successful candidate will deliver the curriculum from a Christian worldview perspective, fostering positive attitudes towards learning and setting achievable expectations for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and caring learning environment
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's educational policies
  • Foster relationships with students, parents, and staff

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in education and Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
  • Demonstrated commitment to Chairo's Statement of Faith
  • Experience teaching science at secondary level, preferably VCE Biology
  • Sound knowledge of teaching from a Christian worldview
  • Ability to utilise various teaching strategies and build strong partnerships with students, parents, and staff

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
