Compliance Audit Specialist

We are seeking a Compliance Audit Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract.

About the Role:
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a methodology for conducting compliance audits/assurance reviews of non-government schools in the Australian Capital Territory, informed by the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) Auditing Standards.
  • Draft an annual compliance review program for non-government schools.
  • Plan and deliver approved compliance audits/assurance reviews that meet chapter 4 of the ACT Education Act 2004 and guidelines as approved by the Registrar of Non-Government Schools.
  • Maintain positive and constructive relationships with stakeholders to support audit/review processes and best practice in non-government schools.

This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.
