Job Title: Facilities Assistant

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment providing assistance with daily operations across three residential aged care facilities.

  • Assist with stock and supplies management, including ordering and receiving inventory.
  • Conduct waste removal and linen restocking tasks as needed.
  • Support resident care, including manual handling of residents' belongings.
  • Perform basic maintenance functions, such as cleaning and repairs.
  • Monitor call bells and equipment to ensure seamless operation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, maintenance experience, and a compassionate approach to resident care.

Responsibilities And Requirements

About You

  • Experience in stock/supplies management is desirable.
  • A highly personable nature is essential for liaising with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills are crucial.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft products.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience when interacting with residents.
