Commercial Role

BlueScope seeks a skilled professional to take on a strategic role in its Trade Affairs team.

The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping outcomes around Anti-Dumping and Trade Affairs matters that impact the company's Australian Steel Products (ASP) business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of anti-dumping frameworks and their commercial implications
  • Collecting, interrogating, and analysing complex data sets from multiple internal systems
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather information and ensure data accuracy
  • Assisting in compiling and reporting on anti-dumping monitoring, including import activity and trade compliance
  • Responding to queries and requests from across the business

Required skills include:

  • Tertiary or post-graduate qualification in a business-related field
  • Competency in tools and systems such as SAP, Cognos, Power BI, and D365
  • An analytical mindset with a passion for working with large, complex data sets
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Effective communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
