Fibreglass Laminators and Gel Coat Detailers
">Job Description:We are seeking highly skilled fibreglass laminators and gel coat detailers to join our team at a leading composites manufacturer.
Fibreglass laminators will be responsible for creating high-quality composite products using fibreglass mats and resin, while gel coat detailers will ensure a smooth and glossy finish on the final product.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with fibreglass materials, excellent attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay up fibreglass mats and apply resin to create composite products
- Sand and prepare surfaces for painting or coating
- Avoid scratches and imperfections during the manufacturing process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in fibreglass laminating or related field
- Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Ability to lift 20 kg and stand for long periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
