Senior Care Manager

The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring high quality care provision to residents at all times.
- Supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in supervising and coordinating care to residents across the home.
- Ensures individual needs, wishes and goals of each resident are met within a supportive environment.
This role is open to Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with appropriate qualifications.
">Key Responsibilities:- Provides social and emotional support to all residents to ensure holistic and person-centred care provision.
- Supports the coordination of care needs of residents across the home including medication management, nutrition and hydration, pressure care management.
- Leads/supervises care on the shift, within their designated wing or area.
- Performs medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and policies.
- Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration) OR Certificate IV in Ageing Support OR Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training.
- High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
- Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and use information technology and programs.
- Current National police check.
- Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
- Desire to join a team committed to care provision in a mission-based organisation.
