Job Title: Part-time Occupational Therapist

This role is an opportunity to work as a skilled Occupational Therapist on a part-time basis, providing essential support for maternity leave coverage over a 12-month period.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary occupational therapy issues and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver assessment and clinical treatment to referred consumers, ensuring agreed goals and outcomes are achieved
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage a diverse caseload and understanding of consultation and referral processes to regional agencies
  • Ability to prescribe and arrange the supply of specialized equipment as required
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Current and valid Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and direct specific therapeutic supports for consumers across community health and clinical care areas
  • Utilize clinical expertise to assist consumers in maximizing their occupational performance in personal care, domestic activities, social environments, leisure activities, community involvement, and work settings

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position available on a 0.4 Equivalent Full-Time (EFT) basis.
