Your Functional Therapy is a growing occupational therapy business which is working primarily with NDIS clients. Your Functional Therapy primarily specialises in Paediatrics, disability and Mental Health referrals and allows OTs where they would like to work.
Your Functional Therapy is predominately a community based setting which allows for flexible hours and we provide generous reimbursements for fuel and toll costs. Job description

Your Functional Therapy is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team as a part time/ full time or casual or contract employee. We are looking for both experienced and new graduate OTs who express an interest in working within paediatrics, disability or mental health. You will be part of a rapidly growing team that are passionate and dedicated to bettering the lives of others. Key Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
-Conduct client assessments-Be involved in the treatment and management of complex conditions-Be able to solve both clinical and non-clinical problems in day to day work-Flexible and be able to work across various settings such as community or clinic-Be prepared to complete professional development activities and apply to various clinical situations-Confident with clinical reasoning skills across a variety of conditions-Be involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders regarding patient care-Liaise with other Allied Health team members regarding patients management

Key Requirements:

To be successful in the role of an Occupational Therapist, you will:
-Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both clinical and non-clinical perspective.-Demonstrate willingness to progress your career from a clinical perspective if required-Public or private hospital experience will be highly desired-Strong written communication skills-Be able to work independently-Be able to provide clinical supervision to other staff if required-Be confident in your role while being open to feedback-Have current AHPRA registration-Have a current driver's license and your own car-Have current professional Indemnity Insurance, a -Working With Children Check and a National Criminal Record Check
