Senior Category Manager Position

We are seeking a motivated professional to fill the position of Procurement Support Officer, as part of our procurement and category management team on an ongoing full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in undertaking activities for category management to achieve effective outcomes for aggregated Victorian Government purchasing arrangements.
- Support the ongoing management of State Purchase Contracts, including monitoring performance targets and other key deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and achievement of team deliverables, goals and strategies.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with stakeholders, constructively addressing issues or escalating as appropriate.
- You will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate outcomes, listen to customers / clients / stakeholders and address their requirements within agreed time frames.
- Able to monitor supplier performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities and/or under-performance.
- Knowledge of category and contract management policies, standards and guidelines within the public sector is essential.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and support the delivery of team and organisation-wide outputs.
