**Job Overview:**
As a category expert, you will create and execute sourcing strategies that drive competitive advantage.
- Category Strategy: Develop comprehensive sourcing plans for assigned categories, incorporating market insights and supplier partnerships.
- Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Execution: Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFX processes, negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, and implementation.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence decisions, support innovation, and unlock end-to-end value.
Key skills for success include strategic thinking, negotiation skills, commercial acumen, project management, and analytical skills. Experience in category management, procurement, and supplier negotiations is essential.
**About You:*
- Proven experience in similar category roles, especially in indirect corporate and commercial services.
- Strong negotiation skills and deep understanding of sourcing and contracting processes.
- Ability to influence and engage cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders.
