Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing workplace rehabilitation services to help individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will design, implement, and monitor programs to assist clients in returning to the workforce. You will also undertake vocational assessments, initial needs assessments, and worksite assessments to identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and develop strategies to overcome them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement rehabilitation programs to assist clients in returning to the workforce
  • Undertake vocational assessments and initial needs assessments to identify client needs
  • Conduct worksite assessments to identify RTW barriers and develop strategies to overcome them
  • Collaborate with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Appropriate professional registration with ASORC
  • Willingness to travel (a current vehicle and driver's license is compulsory)
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
