Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical equipment, machines, and systems for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction.
  • Work Measurement and Analysis: Establish work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
  • Optimization and Efficiency: Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, operational data, and production schedules and costs to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies.
  • Project Management: Organize and manage project labor and the delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Establish standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
  • Plant Maintenance: Inspect plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained and direct the maintenance of plant, buildings, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a related field.
  • Qualification: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related qualification.
  • Language: Exceptional command of the English language.
  • Age: Below the age of 44.
