Electrical Maintenance Technician Wanted

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure machinery is running smoothly during shifts.
  • Document and record all maintenance activities and repairs for quality assurance purposes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience required.
  • Dual trade qualifications would be highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in the FMCG sector with a focus on electrical maintenance.
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg occasionally.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.

This is a permanent full-time position offering family-friendly hours Monday to Friday, working closely with a friendly and collaborative team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of machinery and equipment and contribute to the smooth operation of the production line.
