Electrical Tradeperson Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Electrical Tradeperson to join our maintenance team.

This is a full-time position as an integral member of the team, rotating on both morning and afternoon shifts across multiple 24hr production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practices
  • Carry out electrical repairs on fixed plant with a focus on planned and predictive maintenance
  • Work closely with operations teams during breakdowns, fault finding, and troubleshooting issues
  • Respond effectively to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner
  • Maintain PLCs and circuitry
  • Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs in accordance with site requirements
  • Conduct major overhauls through various plant shutdowns
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide direction to contractors and work groups as required
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified (Valid unrestricted electrical license)
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Electrician in an industrial environment
  • High level of fault-finding expertise
  • PLC diagnostic skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Confident, self-motivated, and energetic individual
  • Team player with high trade flexibility
  • Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision
