About the Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland. This is a permanent full-time role working a 4,5,5 lifestyle roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance services on the Flash Tanks, Digestors, Holding Tanks, and associated equipment in the Digestion area of the plant.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and recommend improvements to equipment.
- Order parts and record maintenance history.
- Complete inspection of components and take personal accountability for the safe execution, quality, and efficiency of work.
- Communicate effectively with your team and other internal customers as required.
Requirements:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
- Mechanical trade qualifications (Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter) with experience installing large valves and pipework would be advantageous.
- A positive and motivated attitude with the ability to communicate effectively and work safely in a team environment.
- Able to work autonomously in the field.
- Riggers and Forklift High Risk Work Licence would be advantageous.
