Job Title: Disability Support Worker

This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children with disability and behavioural needs. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to our participants, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide after-school and weekend support within the home and in the community
  • Encourage social skill development and meaningful community participation
  • Follow behaviour support strategies and maintain participant safety
  • Complete clear shift notes and communicate effectively with our broader team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Female support worker (required for participant matching)
  • Aus-Asian background or strong cultural alignment preferred
  • Experience working with children with disability and behavioural needs (ASD/ADHD)
  • Must live in or very near Cherrybrook - local applicants only
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module certificate
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle with insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Excellent communication and reliability
