We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our team of consultants and drive impact on the market and shape the energy transition.
This role requires working closely with senior stakeholders in the energy industry, policymakers, regulators, investors, developers, and industry players across the energy supply chain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing commercial due diligence on new generation or retail businesses, and defining growth strategies post-acquisition.
Key responsibilities include working with developers of large infrastructure and green fuel projects to commercially-optimise designs, quantify demand for new products and supply chain constraints.
- Supporting the development of a new entrant retailer from strategy and business plan through to product development, business setup and trading system selection.
- Collaborating with market participants and regulators to quantify the value of behind-the-meter generation and define products and business models that allow market participants to realise this value.
- Defining investment portfolio strategies and offtake options for large-scale renewable and storage projects, including PPAs and pricing flexible contract structures, assessing the impact of contracting options on gross margins and risk.
This is a leadership opportunity that requires collaboration with clients from high-level strategy definition down to detailed implementation, helping them achieve their goals, manage risk, and bring their purpose and sustainability goals to life.
