Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Expertise Leader to manage our product lifecycle, ensuring final products meet regulatory standards and quality expectations.

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans, fostering collaboration between Melbourne and China teams.
  • Develop supplier partnerships for efficient sourcing of high-quality materials while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze trends to identify suppliers, facilitate design-to-cost processes, and develop fabric sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure quality assurance protocols are in place and manage inspection and audit processes at manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage production metrics to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with the Technical Manager to align production processes with engineering specifications.
  3. Represent the company in discussions with retailers and industry stakeholders about customer needs.
  4. Develop and implement a sustainability strategy aligned with corporate objectives and industry standards.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in production management, sourcing, and compliance in the apparel industry.
  • Strong understanding of costing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strategic thinking focused on operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership abilities committed to team development and collaboration.
