Before and After School Hours Care Coordinator Position

Our Patch is looking for a visionary leader to run an Outside School Care Program within the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, providing Before and After School Care. We need educators who are community-minded, approachable and visible within the school community, offering a calm approach to growing relationships with children and the school community.

The Patch Leader will be employed on a part-time basis with a minimum of 30 hours a week, while the Patch Educator will work on a part-time basis with a minimum of 15 hours a week, focusing on planning and embedding children's voice in all that we do during the School Term.

We are committed to safeguarding children and require our staff to adhere to our GROW values and brand promises. The Patch Leader demonstrates passion and drive, leading a team of Patch Educators to ensure every child's voice is recognised, quality offerings are provided, and relationships with children, families, schools and communities are built.

Patch Educators will support the Patch Leader in designing and delivering programs based on children's voices, ensuring each patch meets/exceeds the National Quality Framework and prioritises children's safety at all times.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification
  • Employee Working with Children Check
  • Current National Police Check
  • First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificates
  • Previous Childcare Experience (recommended)
