Before and After School Care Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated before and after school care service and holiday programs that support local families. The role involves designing and delivering engaging programs for children, building positive relationships with the community, mentoring and supporting a team to develop their skills and growth within the industry, and overseeing compliance and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in children's lives, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A relevant qualification and experience in childcare or OSHC would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging programs for children of various ages.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and the community as the face of the organization.
  • Mentor and support a team to develop their skills and growth within the industry.
  • Oversee compliance and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
Hours of Work:

7:00am – 9:00am and 2:15pm – 6:30pm, plus weekly admin hours. Monday to Friday only — no weekend work.

About You:

You are passionate about making a difference in children's lives and thrive on building strong, positive relationships. You are a natural leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, and you enjoy working with children and families.

Requirements:
  • Completed or currently studying an ACECQA-recognised qualification (Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar).
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check.
  • Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting, relevant food safety & mandatory reporting certificates and a National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.
