Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Security Specialist to join our team at DP World. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for protecting the integrity and safety of our maritime zones.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Certificate II in Security Operations and a current security license. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Controlling access into a maritime zone (both persons and vehicles) in accordance with MTOFSA rules and regulations.
  • Signing contractors IN/OUT and checking their induction cards and MSICs.
  • Checking emails, administration, communications, and required reporting.
  • Providing perimeter security by ensuring there is no unauthorized access to the site or vulnerabilities to the physical and electronic security integrity of the Site perimeter.
  • Confirming that everyone issued a security access card to the site has completed the relevant induction and provided the appropriate approved access level.
  • Surveillance and monitoring of all entry gates, Site buildings and grounds, access control system and the visitor management system process.
  • Responding to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, building management control systems, CCTV systems, and any issues raised by staff or contractors.
  • Maintaining accurate records and incident reports.
  • Performing regular patrols and administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • A Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • A current security license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
