We're seeking a high-calibre security professional to join our team as Chief Security Strategist. As a key member of our National Security Team, you'll be responsible for overseeing our professional security capability across Viva Energy's National Operations.

Your primary objective will be to continuously improve the security performance of our organisation by providing security assurance to meet regulatory compliance obligations. This includes conducting site security and vulnerability assessments to inform security decision-making.

You'll also be responsible for promoting a positive security culture by enhancing security awareness across Viva Energy Australia and various work groups. Additionally, you'll maintain internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes and manage budgets for physical security operations, including labour and systems maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15+ years of relevant security experience, with detailed knowledge of Maritime Security issues in the region. You should also be familiar with International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code, maritime security plans, and Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003 and Regulations (MTOFSA), Commonwealth Security of Critical Infrastructure Act, and State Critical Infrastructure and Major Hazard Facility licencing.

You'll need to hold or be able to obtain Minimum Baseline Security Clearance and have applicable state driver's licenses. A Certificate IV Security Risk management or equivalent is essential, along with previous experience/knowledge in issuing MSIC, ASIC identity cards, and conducting verification of documents to support Auscheck processes.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. If you're passionate about security and want to make a real difference in a dynamic organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
