About the Role:
Viva Energy is seeking a highly skilled Security Lead to oversee the security operations across our national operations. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our facilities, employees, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct site security and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Ensure timely and effective response to security incidents and ensure corrective action is implemented.
- Assist the National Security Team with security responsibility for all Viva Energy operated facilities in Australia.
- Support and manage Security vendors' performance.
- Develop, implement and monitor security policies, protocols, programs or procedures.
Requirements:
- A high calibre security professional with 15+ years relevant security experience.
- Detailed knowledge of Maritime Security issues in the region.
- Sound knowledge of International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code, maritime security plans and Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003 and Regulations (MTOFSA).
- Certificate III Security Guarding, Certificate IV Security Risk management or equivalent, Applicable State Driver's License and Minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
- Previous experience/knowledge in issuing of MSIC, ASIC identity cards along with conducting verification of documents to support Auscheck process.
