About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our marketplace.

As a Machine Learning Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, coding, experimenting, implementing and deploying models and algorithms that enhance the customer experience, optimise supply and demand, improve business outcomes, and expand product capabilities.

You will lead end-to-end machine learning initiatives in product-led environments, with a strong understanding of the digital product lifecycle. You will also collaborate closely with product teams, data engineers, and data analysts to shape the direction of the marketplace as we continue to grow and evolve.

  • Develop and maintain recommendation systems and deep learning models and algorithms, with proficiency in PyTorch.
  • Design and deploy end-to-end data products and help build internal ML capabilities.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities for advanced analytics across various domains within the organisation, leveraging AI/ML to drive growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to own core IP, influence product experiences, and drive strategic decisions.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end machine learning initiatives in product-led environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills.
  • Practical experience with MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD/CT workflows.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Data Platform infrastructure (e.g. Databricks or Snowflake).
